Why Q?

Q is a design leader, product builder, author & teacher who has been inspiring teams and building industry-shifting products for over 20 years. He believes that design's primary job is to help people accomplish their goals. Quick, intuitively, and as delightfully as possible.

Drawing from design psychology and audience needs, Q helps people create solutions that feel simultaneously new & familiar. He's spoken at SXSW, written for Entrepreneur magazine, mentored designers who run teams at places like Disney Interactive, and personally branded start-up darlings that have made it to #1 on the app store.

Q, his son Fox, and their two Corgi's live in Austin, Texas, where you can find him either mentoring Entrepreneurs at Founder's Institute or singing karaoke at his favorite night spot.
